OK, so I know I have 16 years to decide, but I don't know! Funny or semi-serious? I mean, like all of my friends are going to get this photo and have it forever and ever, and even some of my teachers!

Ava- Friends 4-ever! U have the cutest clothes! When will your Dad and my Dad play tennis again? That was fun when we were ballgirlzz. Did u see last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy? I can't believe that show has been on for 16 years!- luv E

Big Weekend

There was lots to do this weekend: Ava's birthday party, reading Tom Rabbit with Dad, running around in the background looking for mouse houses, singing my new favorite song Stop! In the Name of Love, riding my tricycle (Dad fixed the wheel with duct tape), and hanging out with my posse at KidTown. By the time Sunday came around I was so wired that I couldn't nap- but I fell asleep in the car at 6PM. Mum put me on the floor for a ten-minute power nap, with my coat still on and everything.

Slumber PARTY!

Dylan was over the other night for a slumber party. We had dinner together, read books, and ran around. Dad said Dylan is a good reader. He sat by Dad and listened to a whole book, and repeated passages at various points.

Dad may be a bit frustrated because lately I've demanded to do all the reading, even though I don't know how to yet. But I can only look for Goldbug in those Richard Scarry books so many times.

Aveda Pampering

The gals at the local Aveda salon are fantastic. I especially liked the volumizing tonic they gave me. Usually, they don't use it for first-time-ever haircuts, but I'd been waiting 27 months for this moment, so they pampered me a bit. Their sap moss nourishing concentrate also worked wonders. I can't believe how soft my hair is now.

Olive Fingers

I can down ten olives in one sitting. Here I am halfway through.
